Accessibility
Updated October 8, 2026
We want Bounley, and every page people make with it, to work for everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we do
- We measure the contrast of text against the background it actually appears on, for every page style we offer, and require at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
- Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Form fields have labels, and buttons that show only an icon have names that screen readers announce.
- Animation respects your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
- Text can be enlarged with your browser’s zoom.
Known limitations
- Embedded players and feeds — Twitch, YouTube, Spotify and others — are built by those companies, and how accessible they are is up to them.
- Page owners choose their own photos, images and colours, which may not always meet these guidelines.
