What is Bounley?
Bounley is the platform built for personal brands. It puts a personal brand on its own domain (yourname.com), with a professional email address at it (you@yourname.com) and a website for everything you make, set up in one place in minutes. Everyone gets a site at bounley.me/yourname that holds every account you have, with a business card and email signature made from it; Premium adds the domain and the email.
How do you say and spell Bounley?
It’s said BOWN-lee, like the start of “bounce”, and spelled B-O-U-N-L-E-Y, one word, like its address, bounley.com. People sometimes type it Bownly, Bounly or Bownley; it’s Bounley. It was called HandleClub until October 2026, and every old handleclub.com and handle.club link leads to the same place here. The official logo, the “un” from the middle of the name: the u’s bowl and the n’s arch run together into one white stroke, on a blue (#1185FE) tile with rounded corners, is on the brand page.
How does Bounley work?
You make an account, claim bounley.me/yourname, and type one username; Bounley finds your other accounts and builds your site in about two minutes. How Bounley works shows every step in short videos of the real app, with what’s free and what Premium adds.
What platform should I use for my personal brand?
One that gives you all three things a personal brand needs: a domain with your name, an email address at it and a website. Website builders give you the site and leave the email to another company; link-in-bio tools give you a page of links with no email at your own domain. Bounley is the platform built for personal brands, and sets up all three together. See how to choose a personal brand platform.
Why should I use Bounley?
Because it makes you look like a real business. A link-in-bio page lives on someone else’s domain. With Bounley you get a site, a business card and a signature that all match, and with Premium yourname.com and you@yourname.com. Brands, sponsors and clients take an email at your own domain far more seriously than a Gmail address. Doing that yourself means a domain registrar, an email provider and a website builder, wired together by hand. Bounley does it in one sign-up. See Your own domain and email and Bounley vs doing it yourself.
How do I get a website for my personal brand?
Claim your name on Bounley, type one username, and Bounley finds your other accounts and builds your site at bounley.me/yourname in about two minutes, free while in beta. Add your best work, pick a theme, and put the link in every bio. With Premium it runs on your own domain. The full guide: How to get a website for your personal brand.
How do I get a professional email address for my personal brand?
You need your own domain and an email service on it, with MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records set up. Bounley Premium does both: get a domain through Bounley (every record is put in for you) or connect one you own, and you get you@yourname.com with the inbox inside Bounley. The full guide, including the other options: How to get a professional email address.
How do I make my personal brand more professional?
Get your own domain and an email address at it, put everything on one website at that domain, and make your name, photo, bio, signature and business card match. Bounley sets those up together. See How to make your personal brand more professional.
How do I grow my personal brand?
Be known for one clear thing, post it consistently where your audience already is, and send everyone who finds you to one place you own, with an easy way to reach you. How to grow your personal brand has the full list.
Is it OK to use Bounley while it’s in beta?
Yes, and it’s the best time to join. Names are first come, first served, so joining early is how you get yours. Everything except Premium is free, with no card. Bounley is built by its founder, so your message reaches the person who builds it, and improvements ship every week. Your page can be downloaded any time, and a domain you connect stays yours. Why the beta is a good time to join.
Is Bounley free?
Yes. Your page, your card, your QR code, your email signature and your stats are free while Bounley is in beta, and there is no card to enter. Premium, which adds a domain of your own and email at it, is invitation-only during the beta.
How do I get my own Bounley link?
Claim your name on bounley.com, add your accounts (type one username and Bounley finds the rest), and your page is live. Then put bounley.me/yourname in the bio of every account you have. Most people are done in about two minutes.
Who is behind Bounley?
Bounley was founded by Doug McGuire, who builds it and writes its guides. Samuel Hix is Bounley’s social media marketer. More on the About page.
What does “handle” mean?
Your handle is the name you go by online, the @name on each app. On Bounley your handle becomes your address: bounley.me/yourhandle.
How is Bounley different from a link-in-bio page?
A link-in-bio page is a list of links on someone else’s address. Bounley is built around your own name: your own domain and a professional email address at it with Premium, and a website that plays your videos, music and streams, with a business card, QR code and email signature made from it.
Can I bring my links from another link page?
Yes. While you set up your page, open “Moving from another link page?”, paste your old page’s address, and Bounley brings the accounts on it across. You can also do it later from Add on your dashboard.
Can I use my own domain and email?
Yes, with Premium: your site on a domain you own, and an email address at it that you read and send from inside Bounley, with your signature on every email. You can connect a domain you already have, or get one through Bounley and the email records are put in for you. Premium is invitation-only while Bounley is in beta. Everyone gets bounley.me/yourname free.
How do I get Premium?
Claim your name first, then email support@bounley.com and ask for an invitation. Premium is by invitation during the beta so each new domain is set up with care and its email is warmed up to reach inboxes.
Can I read my Bounley email in Gmail or Outlook?
Today, your inbox is in your Bounley dashboard, which you can add to your phone’s home screen and open like an app, with your signature already on every email. If you would rather keep another provider, the site and the email are separate switches: put your site on your domain and leave your email where it is.
What happens if I leave Bounley?
You keep what’s yours. Download a copy of your page any time from Link & privacy. A domain you connect is registered to you at your own registrar, so you keep the address and can point its site and email somewhere else whenever you like, without changing it. If you delete your account, your bounley.me name becomes available again.
What if I need a store, a blog or booking?
Your site links to all of them, and many play right on it: shops, booking calendars, forms and podcasts. Bounley is your home base on your own name, and the specialist tools hang off it.
Which apps does Bounley work with?
More than 50 platforms have their own buttons, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Twitch, Kick, Snapchat, Spotify, Discord, Threads, Bluesky, Patreon and Substack, and any other website can go in as a link. There are guides for adding your link to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitch.
Can people find my page on Google?
Yes. Every page is built to be found: your name, your handle and the apps you are on go into what search engines read. If you would rather not be found, turn on “Hide from search engines” under Privacy & account.
What is Discover?
Discover is the directory of creators on Bounley. Your page’s name, photo, bio and link are listed there when you agree to the Terms. Leave any time under More → Discover; pages hidden from search or with a content warning are never listed.
Who can see my page?
Anyone with the link. Your page is public, including anything you add to your card, like an email address or phone number, so only add what you are happy to share.
What should I keep off my page?
Anything you wouldn’t hand a stranger: your home address, a personal phone number, your school, or your daily routine. Use a business email at your own domain for enquiries, and a city or region rather than an address. If you tell us you’re under 18, your page is only listed in Discover if you turn that on yourself.
Does Bounley track my visitors?
No ad trackers. Your page counts views and taps without cookies, so you can see what works. The Privacy Policy lists everything that is kept and why.
How do I delete my page?
Open your dashboard, go to Edit → Privacy & account, and delete your account. Your page, card and stats go with it, and the name becomes available again.
How do I report a page?
Use Report a page. Reports about impersonation, harassment, intimate images or child safety are dealt with first.
